Volume Loss in Burswood
Faces change shape. Cheeks sit a little flatter, temples a little hollower, the jawline a little softer. At Eila in Burswood, a volume loss consultation starts with the whole face: a registered nurse looks at structure, support and proportion before planning any one area.

Where the face loses volume.
One area leans on the next. Less support through the cheeks changes how the lower face sits, which is why we never plan one feature on its own. We read the whole face first: structure, support, proportion and symmetry, front on and in profile.
Then we tell you straight. Your plan may cover one area or several, in a set order, across more than one visit. Less is more here. We would rather do a little, see how it settles at your two-week review and build from there.
For the whole face in one plan, see profile balancing under facial treatments. For skin firmness, see collagen support under skin rejuvenation.
A face loses volume in layers. The fat pads under the cheeks and temples thin and sit lower. The bone beneath them changes shape slowly. Collagen in the skin drops. Each change is small, and together they show as a flatter cheek or a deeper fold.
The place you point to is often not where it starts. A fold beside the mouth can begin higher up, in the cheek. A hollow under the eye is sometimes better left alone. We will tell you which is which.

Risks and recovery.
Every cosmetic treatment carries risk. Bruising, swelling, redness and tenderness are common and usually settle within days. Less often, a result can be uneven or need adjusting at your review. Serious complications are rare, and your practitioner explains the ones that apply to your plan, the signs to watch for and who to call, before you decide. Having nothing done is always one of the options.

How much is volume loss treatment in Burswood? +
Call 0486 330 902 or book a consultation for a price.
What causes volume loss in the face? +
The face changes with age: its structure and soft tissue give less support and the skin makes less collagen. Weight change can show in the face too.
Which areas can be treated? +
Cheeks, temples and upper face, mid face, lower face, chin and jawline. Lips are covered under lip enhancement.
Can I do it in stages? +
Yes, and we usually suggest it. A little, then a review, then a decision about the next step.
Will it be obvious? +
We plan conservatively and review at two weeks. Results vary from person to person, and we talk through what is realistic for your face before you decide.
Why does my face look tired when I’m not? +
Often because support has moved, not because anything is wrong. When the cheeks sit a little lower, the folds below them deepen and the face reads as tired. A consultation works out where the change began.
Will skincare bring volume back? +
No. Good skincare and sunscreen look after the skin itself. Volume sits under the skin, in fat and bone, and creams don’t reach it. We would rather tell you that than sell you a jar.
Does weight loss matter? +
Yes. Losing weight quickly can make volume loss look sharper in the face. If you are partway through a big change in weight, it is often worth waiting until it settles before planning anything.
Who should not book? +
Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell us about bleeding or autoimmune conditions, blood thinners and any treatment done to your face before, including at another clinic.
What should I avoid afterwards? +
Don’t press or massage the area for a couple of days unless we ask you to. Skip hard exercise, saunas and alcohol for 24 to 48 hours. Sleep on your back for the first night or two. Call us straight away about pain that gets worse, skin that turns pale, grey or blotchy, or any change in your vision.
