PDO Thread Lift in Perth
A PDO thread lift is a real procedure, so we treat it like one. It starts with a 30-minute PDO Thread Consultation at Eila in Burswood, where a registered nurse looks at your face, tells you whether threads suit you and walks you through the risks and the one to two weeks of recovery.

What a PDO thread lift does.
PDO threads are fine, dissolvable threads made of polydioxanone, the material used in surgical sutures. Placed under the skin, they support and lift the tissue and prompt new collagen as they dissolve.
Smooth mono threads are placed in a fine mesh to firm the skin and build collagen. Lifting threads carry tiny barbs that hold and reposition the cheeks, jawline and neck.
The threads dissolve over about six months. The collagen they build keeps supporting the skin after that.
Threads are not for every face. If we think you would be better served by something else, or by nothing yet, we will say so at the consultation.
Threads are a middle step. They suit mild to moderate looseness in the cheeks, jawline and neck. Where the skin has dropped a long way, threads won’t do what you want, and we will tell you that a surgeon is the right conversation.

How much is a PDO thread lift in Perth? +
Call 0486 330 902 or book a consultation for a price.
What is a thread lift? +
A thread lift places dissolvable PDO threads under the skin to lift and support the face and stimulate collagen.
Does a thread lift hurt? +
The area is numbed with local anaesthetic first. Most people feel pressure or tugging.
What is recovery like? +
Swelling, tenderness and bruising are common and usually settle within one to two weeks. Some tightness or puckering can show at first and eases as the threads bed in.
How long do PDO threads last? +
The threads dissolve over about six months. The collagen they stimulate keeps supporting the skin after that.
Can I have a thread lift before an event? +
Book two to four weeks ahead so swelling and bruising have settled.
When will I see a change? +
A lifting thread repositions the tissue when it is placed, and some of that settles back as the swelling goes down. The collagen it prompts builds over the following weeks, usually showing from about four to six weeks. Results vary from person to person.
What are the risks? +
Swelling, bruising and tenderness are common. Less often a thread can be felt or seen under the skin, the skin can pucker or dimple, or a thread can work its way out and need removing. Infection is rare. Your practitioner explains which apply to your plan before you decide.
Can threads be combined with other treatments? +
Often. Threads lift and firm; they don’t change the surface of the skin. A plan may add skin needling or a skin booster for texture, in an order we set at your consultation.
Who should not book? +
Anyone under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, or with an active skin infection or keloid scarring. Tell us about blood thinners, and leave two weeks either side of dental work or facial surgery.
What should I avoid afterwards? +
Sleep on your back, and avoid big expressions and wide yawning for one to two weeks. Skip saunas, steam, facial massage, dental work and hard exercise for two weeks.
