Eila was founded by Sheila Manubag on three things she would not compromise on: considered care, restrained judgement and honest advice. Today that is two clinics, Robina on the Gold Coast and Burswood in Perth, run by registered nurses and a nurse practitioner with more than 30 years of combined experience.

A note from the founder

Hi, I’m Sheila, the founder of Eila Aesthetics. I love what I do, and I love the time I spend with my clients. My favourite part of this work is the people: a genuine connection, an honest conversation and the chance to help someone.

My approach is simple. Before anything happens, I take the time to look closely and explain what I see. Education is often the missing part of our profession, and I want you to understand your skin, not just be told what to buy.

Sometimes that means a treatment. Often it means an honest opinion and a better routine. I would rather talk you out of something than into it, and you will always get a straight answer from me.

How a visit works

New clients start with a 30-minute First Consultation.

    Consult

    Tell us what you have noticed. We look at your skin and your face.

  2. 02

    Plan

    We tell you straight what is worth doing, what can wait and what you can skip, and what it costs.

    Treat

    When the answer is yes, we do it meticulously. Thirty minutes to two hours, depending on the treatment.

    Review

    Two weeks later we look again, together.

Who leads Eila Aesthetics? +

Eila was founded by Sheila Manubag, Registered Nurse AHPRA NMW0001572082. Gabrielle Munro, Nurse Practitioner AHPRA NMW0001044360, leads the clinical direction of the practice. Aprille Carter, Registered Nurse AHPRA NMW0001671360, cares for clients at the Robina clinic. Ara Manubag supports the Perth clinic, and Terry Clarke runs the business side of Eila.

I have never had a treatment before. Where do I start? +

Book a First Consultation. It is 30 minutes, there is nothing to prepare, and nobody will expect you to book a treatment on the day.

What should I bring? +

Your current skincare, notes from any past treatments, and a list of the medicines and supplements you take.

Will it hurt? +

Numbing cream or local anaesthetic is used where a treatment needs it. Most treatments feel like light pressure or a scratch.

Is there downtime? +

It depends on the treatment. Skin needling leaves one to three days of redness; PDO threads take one to two weeks to settle. Your practitioner gives you the recovery time for your treatment.

How do I book? +

Book online through our booking page, or call 0486 330 902. One line serves both clinics.

What is your cancellation policy? +

A $50 deposit secures each appointment and comes off your treatment on the day. Give at least 48 hours' notice to change or cancel and the deposit moves to your new appointment; with less notice, or if you do not attend, it is kept.

Is there a minimum age? +

Yes. Treatments are for clients aged 18 and over, and we may ask for photo ID. Under 18s may attend a consultation only, with a parent or guardian present.
