How to choose a skin clinic on the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast has plenty of skin clinics. Four things separate a good one: who treats you, a proper consultation, a location you can get to, and follow-up.

Check who treats you

Start with the people. A clinic’s website should name each practitioner and show their qualification and registration number. Ask how long they have been treating and how often they perform the treatment you want.

Match the clinic to the treatment

Skin clinics differ. Some focus on facials and peels, some on laser, some on skin needling and injectable skin treatments. Check that the clinic has a page for the treatment you want, with what it does, how long it takes and how long recovery is.

Book a consultation first

A good first appointment gives you three things: someone looks at your skin, you hear which treatment fits what you want to change, and you get the price.

At Eila the First Consultation is 30 minutes, with a follow-up two weeks after treatment. Virtual consultations are on the booking menu too.

Location, parking and hours

Most skin treatments are a course. Skin needling is typically three to four sessions, about six weeks apart, so you will visit more than once. Pick a clinic that is easy to get to, with parking and hours that fit your week.

Our Robina clinic is at Shop 12/203 Robina Town Centre Drive, with free 2-hour parking on site. It is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm, a short drive from Varsity Lakes, Burleigh Heads, Broadbeach and Mudgeeraba.
